Okay. Well, not ALL of them.
This was one of the first presentations for the Philly ‘Burbs WordPress Meetup group and a very exciting one because it presented a call-to-action to the group. There’s nothing like a good challenge to get you charged up and motivated, especially at the beginning of a new year.
Our meetup has a diverse group of members at varying WordPress skill sets, needs and end-goals. My initial thoughts during the presentation were, “What…!? Not all of this applies to me. What’s up with that, Liam?”
Then, I realized, that these goals do apply to me and to everyone. Like I said before, there’s nothing like a good challenge, so my next thoughts were, “Hello? I’m Angelina. I’m awesome, and I’ve got this!”
So, what did I do? I took a closer look at what I’m working on and want to accomplish.
Here are my (modified) WordPress Goals for 2016:
Participate in a role that would allow me to be hands-on with WordPress while helping others.
- Continue to connect with local areal industry leaders.
a. Identify 3-4 connections to build personal relationships with.
Give another public talk.
- Automate one process in my workflow. (I’ll keep that one. There’s always room for that.)
So there you have it. Challenging, yet attainable goals. I’m looking forward to crossing off all of the items from this list.
What are you looking forward to accomplishing this year?
